Care for High-Functioning Adults with Anxiety, Depression, and OCD

Many adults who reach out are able to keep up with work and responsibilities, but feel worn down by persistent anxiety, low mood, or obsessive thoughts. If symptoms have continued despite prior treatment, it can help to step back and reassess what is driving them.

I offer comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication treatment for adults, with careful attention to diagnosis, side effects, and long-term outcomes. When appropriate, I also provide second opinions for patients who want a more deliberate review of prior medications and next steps.

Appointments are available via secure telehealth throughout Maryland, with limited in-person availability when needed.

Who this practice is often helpful for:

• Individuals seeking a psychiatric second opinion
• People with persistent anxiety, depression, or OCD symptoms
• Patients experiencing medication side effects
• Individuals with complex medication regimens

What to expect during an Evaluation

Many patients seek care after trying treatment elsewhere without clear improvement. An initial evaluation focuses on understanding your symptoms, prior treatments, and overall medical and personal history.

The goal of this visit is to clarify the diagnosis and develop a thoughtful treatment plan. When medications are considered, decisions are made carefully, with attention to prior responses, side effects, and long-term outcomes.

Follow-up visits focus on monitoring progress, adjusting treatment when needed, and coordinating care with therapists or other physicians when appropriate.
