For Therapists and Referring Clinicians

I welcome referrals from therapists and other clinicians seeking psychiatric consultation for adults who may benefit from diagnostic clarification, medication treatment, or a careful second opinion. My practice focuses primarily on anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and complex medication management in high-functioning adults.

When a Referral Maybe Helpful

Referral may be helpful when a patient:

• continues to struggle despite ongoing therapy
• may benefit from psychiatric evaluation or medication treatment
• has not improved with prior medication trials
• is experiencing medication side effects or treatment complexity
• would benefit from a careful second opinion regarding diagnosis or treatment

Approach to Collaboration

When appropriate and with the patient’s consent, I am happy to collaborate with referring therapists regarding diagnostic impressions, treatment recommendations, and medication planning. My goal is to support the patient’s care while respecting the existing therapeutic relationship.

Clinical Focus

Areas commonly addressed in my practice include:

• anxiety disorders
• depression
• obsessive-compulsive disorder
• sleep-related concerns
• complex medication management
• psychiatric second opinions

Referral Process

Patients may contact the practice directly through the website to request an appointment. Therapists are also welcome to share the practice website or contact page with patients who may benefit from psychiatric consultation. When appropriate and with patient permission, I am available to communicate with referring clinicians as part of coordinated care.

I value collaborative relationships with therapists and appreciate the importance of continuity in patient care. If you believe one of your patients may benefit from psychiatric evaluation or medication consultation, you are welcome to direct them to the contact page to get started.
